Abstract: Indigofera enneaphylla Linn. is an important medicinal plant of the family Fabaceae (Common name: Birdsville Indigo; Tamil name: Sheppunerunji). It is a small trailing, much-branched annual or biennial herb distributed throughout India. The aim of the present review is carried out the micro-morphological and the phytochemical constituents in the aerial parts of aqueous and ethanolic extracts of above said plant.
