Gulmohar an ornamental plant with medicinal uses

Abstract: Gulmohar is an ornament plant also known as flame tree. Gulmohar is well known for its beautiful flowers. But it also has some medicinal properties like Anti-diabetic activity, Anti-bacterial activity, Anti-diarrheal property, Hepatoprotective/Cytotoxic property, Anti-microbial activity, Anti-Inflammatory activity. It belongs from family Leguminosae. Phytochemically Gulmohar contain sterols, phenolic compounds, triterpenoids, and falvonoids.
