Abstract:
Effect of temperature and rainfall is the most important environmental factors influencing crop growth, development, and yield processes. The experiment was conducted at Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences Allahabad during summer season where temperature during July and August reaches above and lowest 360 C, with different date of sowing and varieties (D1 V1, D2 V2 and D3V3 with gap 10days) the plant material were subjected to different temperature and rainfall at productive stage. The seed yield was highest under D2 which sown mid of July where temperature is 350C followed by D1 which sown first week of July where temperature is 370C and lowest yield was recorded in D3 which sown on first week of august where temperature is 300C which is not suitable for rice yield production.
