Abstract: The present investigation was carried out to study the genetic variability, heritability and Correlation for 15 traits in Tapioca. The experimental material comprised of 15 genotypes of Tapioca (Manihot esculenta L.) Wider variability was observed for Plant Height (cm), Number of Leaves per plant, Number of Branches per plant, Number of tubers per plant(kg), Tuber yield per plant (kg),Tuber yield per plot (kg), Tuber yield per hectare (tones), Tuber diameter(cm),Tuber Length(cm),Stem diameter (cm). All these characters also recorded high Genetic variability heritability and Correlation. Hence selection will be effective for these traits.
