Abstract: Tissue culture is most suitable for in vitro propagation of citrus rootstock owing to difficulty in conventional method of propagation. Micropropagation rootstock development is an unending process and success depends on several factors viz. genotype, explant age, culture medium and PGR’s affecting regeneration capacity. Efforts have been made to review the status of efficient protocol for micro propagation in citrus rootstocks in various parts of the world.
