Abstract: This study was an attempt to study the socio economic profile mango orchardist Western Uttar Pradesh. It is clearly indicated that the maximum respondents were educational status up to high school level. The above scenario clearly indicates that the maximum respondents were belonged to other backward class and minimum respondents were belong to schedule caste/schedule tribe showed that the most of the respondents 78.12 per cent were having lived under the joint family system revealed that out of the total sample size, 70.63 per cent respondents were having belonging to the medium family size showed from the that most of the total sample size respondents were having more than one hectare of cultivable land size. Out of the total sample size, 66.87 per cent respondents were belonged to large orchardists.
