Abstract:
A pot experiment was conducted to assess the effect of EDTA addition on the phytoremediation efficiency of chromium contaminated soil by
Zea mays L. Treatments consist of four level of Ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid (EDTA) and four level of chromium. Results showed that the different level significantly increased plant height and straw yield at different stages
i.e., at 30 and 60 days after sowing respectively of maize crop. Maximum plant height at 30 DAS maize was recorded in (95.17cm) treatment in C
0 E
0 i.e., control.
