Abstract:
The investigation was conducted during rabi and summer seasons of 2017-18 and 2018-19at College Farm, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari to study the production potential of green gram - pearl millet cropping sequence under integrated nutrient management system. The treatment consisted of five treatment of integrated nutrient management to green gram in rabi season as main plot treatments replicated four times in randomized block design. During summer season each main plot treatment was split into four sub plot treatments with four levels of nitrogen to pearl millet resulting in twenty treatment combinations replicated four times in split plot design. 75% RDN through vermicompost + Bio-fertilizer (Rhizobium) (RDF: 20-40-00 N-P
2O
5-K
2O kg/ha) to rabi green gram and 100% RDF (120-60-00 N-P
2O
5-K
2O kg/ha) summer pearl millet in green gram – pearl millet sequence gave maximum production with better quality under south Gujarat condition.
