Abstract: Biofertilizers are the substance that contains microbes, which helps in promoting the growth of plants and trees by increasing the supply of essential nutrients to the plants. It comprises living organisms which include mycorrhizal fungi, blue-green algae, and bacteria. Organic manures are natural products used by farmers to provide food (plant nutrients) for the crop plants. The combined use of biofertilizers and organic manures may give significant effect in cowpea crop such as plant height, pods per plant, dry leaf weight, plant height, increase fertility of soil, increase yield, quality as well as economy of crop.
