Introduction: Even in modern areas where modern medicines is use & available the interest in herbal medicine and utilization have been increasing rapidly in recent years. The present work is to prepare & analyse the herbal gel Comprising Sariva (Hemidesmus indicus), Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia). These drugs have best Cooling properties also have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant properties, skin colour inhancing properties.
Materials and Methods: The aqueous extracts of Manjistha and Sariva were prepared by using traditional method of distillation using Tiryak patan yantra Muco adhesive gel was prepared using gel base Carbopol 940 and preservative Methyl Paraben, TEA. Physicochemical tests like state, color. odour touch, ease of removal. PH, spreadability Solubility, Viscosity. were done.
Result: An analytical study was conducted on the Manjishta-Sariva gel, revealing it to be a semi-solid substance with a colorless appearance (slightly yellowish tinge), systemic odour, and a pH level of 6. The physical appearance exhibited good homogeneity and consistency.
Conclusion: The prepared formulation was analysed and can be used as a Coolant Gel
