Abstract:

One of the most prevalent non-communicable diseases is diabetes. It is a long-term metabolic illness that affects protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Globally, the prevalence of diabetes is rising daily, with India having the highest rate. Poor eating practices One metabolic disorder that can result from a sedentary lifestyle and stressful circumstances is diabetes. Classic Ayurvedic literature states that the root cause of all Prameha types is a derangement of Kapha, which permeates the body and combines with Meda. By eating a healthy diet and getting more exercise, prameha can be avoided. In order to avert this illness and its after effects, one must adhere to the Ayurvedic principles of Nidanaparivarjan, Ashtahar Vidhivisheshayatan, Dincharya, Rutucharya, and Sadavritta, as well as specific Asana and Yoga postures. Additionally, adhering to Ayurveda can help to lower the burden of noncommunicable diseases by delaying the onset of diabetes or preventing it altogether.
