Observational descriptive study of Oupasargic Vyadhi Netrabhishyanda W.S.R. to Conjunctivitis

Abstract:

Sarvagata Netraroga, a horrible illness that mimics conjunctivitis, is the name given to abhishyanda. Although it can also spread through Rakta, Abhishyanda is the primary cause of conjunctival irritation. Adhimantha, which is associated with acute pain, can arise from untreated Abhishyanda. Vartmagat roga, Shuklagat roga, Sandhigat roga, Krishnagat roga, and so forth are possible further issues. It is believed to be the main cause of nearly all eye conditions. It is Oupasargic vyadhi. The word aupasargika means contagious. The diseases that spread from one person or organism to another person or organism are ‘aupasargika roga’Abhishyanda is considered to be a disease among the seventeen Sarvagat rogas. Netrabhishynada can also spread by touch, sharing a bed or clothes, eating together, and other social interactions, according to Acharya Sushruta. It is the need of time to study Netrabhishyanda. So present study is an attempt to study Netrabhishyanda W.S.R. to Conjuctivitis.
