Abstract:

Plants contain specific chemicals called phytochemicals, which have no nutritional value but may be useful in contain many phytochemicals that are good for human health to preventing diseases. These may minimize oxidative stress-induced free radical harm occurring to cells since they are metabolized by the body. Cucurbitaceae family plant rich in phytochemicals. This study of Praecitrullus fistulosus has been done on leaves part. This study clearly shows that P. fistulosus (Tinda) has a higher concentration of phytochemicals. The P. fistulosus leaves' ethanolic extract contained phenols, flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, steroids, and carbohydrates.
