The rising demand for multi-functional skincare products has highlighted the need for innovative formulations combining therapeutic and cosmetic benefits. This study focuses on the development and evaluation of a BB cream infused with Kumkumadi oil, a renowned Ayurvedic ingredient celebrated for its skin-enhancing properties. The formulation was designed to provide coverage, hydration, and skin-rejuvenating benefits. The experimental approach included meticulous ingredient selection, phase mixing techniques, and emulsification processes to achieve a stable oil-in-water emulsion. Evaluation parameters included physical stability, spreadability, skin compatibility, and user acceptability. The results demonstrated that the BB cream exhibited excellent homogeneity, desirable texture, and favorable user feedback. The inclusion of Kumkumadi oil imparted additional radiance and nourishment to the skin without compromising the formulation's stability or efficacy. Conclusively, the study highlights the potential of Kumkumadi oil as a key component in modern skincare formulations, addressing both functional and aesthetic needs.
