Allopathic, herbal and physiotherapeutic agents: As a pyramid to tackle Parkinson’s disease

Abstract:

Parkinson’s disease is caused by genetic pathway, unbalanced neurotransmitter level and also due to some of the stress related issue. Decrease in dopamine level in brain causes Parkinson disease. It is characterized by Bradykinase, memory loss, speech less, less thinking, tremor, muscle stiffness, depression etc. Most of the population in India ranging from age 60 and above is suffered by this disease which had economic burden on family and country. Such health problem can be overcome by use of allopathic medicine or herbal remedies and physiotherapy. Mostly used medicines are ergot and non ergot derivative, Mandukparni and Waghnakhi. If herbal medicine is used along with yoga, message with nutritional supplement then it will be a miracle solution to such population. This review represents authentic information of synthetic and natural drugs, physiotherapy, the nanoparticle drug delivery and vesicular drug delivery system with some marketed formulations.
