Herbal chocolate formulation for the treatment of hormonal imbalance in women

Abstract:

Hormonal imbalances in women can lead to various health issues, including irregular menstrual cycles, mood swings, and fatigue. Maca powder, derived from the Lepidium meyenii plant, is widely recognized for its potential in balancing hormones naturally. This study explores the development of a herbal chocolate formulation incorporating maca powder as a functional ingredient. The aim is to combine the health benefits of maca with the appeal of chocolate, creating an enjoyable and therapeutic product. Preliminary testing suggests that the formulation effectively delivers the benefits of maca powder while maintaining the sensory qualities of chocolate. This innovation offers a promising, natural alternative for managing hormonal imbalances in women, combining wellness and indulgence in a single product.
