Moringa oleifera Lam (Moringaceae) is a highly valued plant found in many tropical and subtropical nations. It is highly nutritious and has an amazing variety of therapeutic applications. Moringa oleifera Lam. is also referred to as the "Drumstick Tree" and is acknowledged as a rich and reasonably priced source of phytochemicals, water purification, and biodiesel. Zeatin, quercetin, β-sitosterol, and kaempferol are abundant and uncommon in the Moringa plant. This plant's leaves, roots, seed, bark, fruit, flowers, and immature pods all stimulate the heart and circulatory system, have antitumor, antipyretic, antiepileptic, antiinflammatory, antihypertensive, cholesterol-lowering, antioxidant, antidiabetic, hepatoprotective, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, and are used to treat a variety of illnesses in the traditional medical system, especially in South Asia. The specific phytochemical composition is the main focus of this review.
