Author(s): Olena Golembiovska*, Alexandr Tsurkan, Boris Vynogradov
Abstract: The composition of volatile components in the spikes, leaves, stems and roots of Prunella vulgaris L. (Lamiaceae) grown in Ukraine was studied using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The main compound of volatile components was found to be squalene, myristic acid, spathulenol, viridiflorol, germacrone. Different anatomical parts also showed altered volatile profiles.
