Abstract: The composition of volatile components in the spikes, leaves, stems and roots of Prunella vulgaris L. (Lamiaceae) grown in Ukraine was studied using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The main compound of volatile components was found to be squalene, myristic acid, spathulenol, viridiflorol, germacrone. Different anatomical parts also showed altered volatile profiles.
Fingerprint gas chromatograms of the volatile fraction determined by means of GC-MS or the flowers, leaves, stems and roots of P. vulgaris L.
