Abstract: Uttarakhand State endowed with a rich diversity of medicinal plants as well as a rich heritage of traditional medicine system. Medicinal plants acquired a dominant role in agronomy production, pharmacy and exportation because of their increased use as a raw material for the pharmaceutical industry and in the everyday life. The present article aims at reviewing the most remarkable reports on pharmacology, phytochemistry and biological activities of some medicinal plant of Uttarakhand.
