Abstract:
The objective of this study was to estimate the direct and indirect effects of iron and zinc on grain yield in eleven rice genotypes. Path coefficient analyses were estimated at phenotypic levels to resolve the direct and indirect effects of different characters on grain yield. Path coefficient analysis revealed that Biological yield, harvest index and spikelet fertility exhibited highest positive direct effect on grain yield
via grain yield Per Plant. Spikelet fertility and Polished Zinc seed exhibited positive and high indirect effect on grain yield per plant
via Harvest index.
