Abstract:
The chromatographic investigation of the aerial parts of Wodyetia bifurcata (family Arecaceae) revealed the presence of β-Amyrin, lupeol, apigenin, kaempferol, p- hydroxyl benzoic acid and gallic acid that isolated for first time from Wodyetia bifurcata and their structures are elucidated by different spectroscopic techniques as UV, 1H-NMR, 13 C-NMR and EI/MS spectra. The biological activities of different plant extracts are tested for anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and cytotoxicity.
