(Orchidaceae) is an ethno- medicinally important epiphytic member of orchid which is used widely in healing fractured bones, tremors, epilepsy, nerve disorders etc. by the native people of temperate Himalayas. The anti-aging and anti-stress property of the above plant makes it a good alternative of health tonic and rejuvenator. The present paper, deals with pharmacognostic studies on the pseudobulb of C. cristata
Lindl., is an attempt to mitigate the adulteration to the crude drugs.
