Changes in Physical Parameters of Cashew (Anacardium occidentale L.) Apples during storage

Abstract:
An experiment was conducted to study the “changes in physical parameters of cashew apples†of five different varieties at ambient and cold storage conditions. From the study it was observed that, weight and volume was found to be decrease whereas, specific gravity, PLW and spoilage was increased with increase in storage period. 2 (Vengurla-8 at cold storage) recorded best results with respect to weight, as this interaction was significantly superior over all other interactions. This interaction also showed best result with respect to volume and specific gravity. Even T
