Abstract:
A field experiment was conducted at experimental farm of TCA; Dholi, Muzaffarpur (Dr. RPCAU, Pusa, Bihar) during 2016-17 with aims to determine the response of Zinc and Boron application on yield, yield parameters and storage quality of garlic (
Allium sativum L.) var. G-282. The experiment was laid out in RBD with four replications in rabi season with six treatments. Observations were recorded on all the five plants maintained carefully in each plot for eight quantitative and qualitative characters
viz., TBY=total bulb yield (q/ha), field sprouting (%), MBY=marketable bulb yield (q/ha), B:C ratio, TSL-total storage losses (%), dry matter yield of leaves (kg/ha), dry matter yield of bulbs (kg/ha), total dry matter yield (kg/ha), nutrient concentration in leaves and bulbs (%) and nutrients uptake (kg/ha) by garlic.
