Abstract: The desired variability can be achieved by gene stacking. Gene stacking is the process of addition of two or more gene of interest into a single plant. The new evolved trait is known as stacked trait and the crop is known as biotech stacked or simply stacked. In this review we are trying to explain the gene stacking principle, need of the biotech stacked and with its different method of gene stacking.
