Abstract:
The present investigation was carried out at College of Agricultural, Kharpudi, during
kharif 2016 and 2017. The material for the present investigation comprised ten parents, among these six testers, four line, and twenty four F1 derived through Line x Tester mating system including one check were evaluated to know the magnitude of heterosis for yield and yield contributing characters. With respect to seed yield per plant, the highest heterosis was recorded to the extent of 45.09%, 27.63% and 37.78% over mid parent, better parent and standard check, respectively. The promising hybrids

perse performance and heterosis.
