Abstract:
The consumption of organic wastes by earthworms is an ecologically safe method to naturally convert many organic wastes into environmentally beneficial products. Worm farming and the benefits of vermicompost has been well documented and has attracted a lot of interest in recent years. In this context, the present study attempts to evaluate the effect of vermicompost on soil fertility and the nutritional status of the two selected medicinal plants, namely
Andrographis paniculata and
Euphorbia hirta.
