Abstract: The ripe arils of Blighia sapida K.D Koenig (Family Sapindacea), was made to analyse the phytochemical components and thereby its nutraceutical value. The result revealed the presence of carbohydrate, protein, fat, reducing sugar, ascorbic acid, flavonoid, phenolic compound, alkaloid, amino acid, calcium magnesium& phosphorous in the aril.
