Abstract: A simple and efficient HPLC method for estimation of % drug release of isoniazid, pyrazinamide, and rifampicin in triple drug combination product was developed and validated for specificity, accuracy, linearity, precision and robustness ensuring suitability of the method for quantitative analysis. The % drug delivery was higher than more than 95% for all batches of isoniazid, pyrazinamide, and rifampicin. The High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) method was validated and showed to be specific, linear, precise and accurate. The dissolution test associated with HPLC developed was adequate for this purpose and could be employed for routine quality control of pharmaceutical tablets. Hence, the results indicated that this method is suitable for estimation of % Release of isoniazid, pyrazinamide, and rifampicin in a pharmaceutical formulation.
