Abstract: Polyphenol oxidase content was assessed in controlled and open field condition and results shows that there was a increased trend from 58 to 72 days after sowing in open field and compare to controlled condition genotypes in open field condition were having higher content of polyphenol oxidase and also resistant genotypes were significantly different from susceptible ones.
