Abstract: The yield of wheat was predicted through regression model. The studies were conducted in Department of Agrometeorology, IGKV, Raipur (C.G.). Regression model was used to validate the forecasted yield for the year 2015-16 and 2016-17. The % of deviation were found-16.6% for 2015-16 & 14.7% for the year 2016-17, respectively. During validation period (2015-16 & 2016-17) the performance of model was quite satisfactory as the percentage error was less than 20%. Hence, these models can be used to forecast wheat yield for Raipur district.
