Abstract:
A pot culture experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2013-14 at Nagarjun Medicinal Plant Garden, Dr. P.D.K.V-Akola, to assess the effect of zinc on uptake of micronutrients on soybean in swell shrink soil. The experiment was laid out completely randomised design (CRD) with five treatments and two replications. The treatments comprised of varied level of soil application of zinc at 0.0, 1.5, 3.0, 4.5 and 6.0 kg ha
-1 in different soil samples. The results of pot culture study revealed that application of zinc @ 4.5 kg ha
-1 had significantly influenced and improve the dry matter yield and uptake of zinc, iron, manganese and copper by soybean.
