Abstract:
A field experiment was carried out during
kharif season 2019 to find out the effect of phosphorus, sulphur and biofertilizer on growth, yield and quality of mothbean (
Vigna aconitifolia L.) at Agronomy Instructional Farm, Chimanbhai Patel College of Agriculture, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar. Total twelve treatments of different levels of phosphorus, sulphur and biofertilizerwere tested randomized complete block design with factorial concept. Among different levels, an application of 60 kg P
2O
5, 20 kg S/ha and seed inoculation of PSB recorded recorded significantly higher number of branches/plant, number of pods/plant, seeds/pod, seed yield (kg/ha) and stover yield (kg/ha) while protein content was remain unaffected.
