Abstract: The field experiment was conducted during kharif 2019 at Instructional farm of BTC College of Agriculture and Research Station, Bilaspur, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.). The studies revealed that the first incidence of tobacco caterpillar appeared in first week of august i.e., 32th SMW, and attended peak (1.67 larvae/mrl) during the second week of September i.e., 37th SMW. The correlation studies revealed that minimum (r = 0.533), and average (r = 0.571) temperature had significant positive correlation, while the other weather parameters showed non significant correlation with tobacco caterpillar.
