Abstract:

This study focuses on formulating a herbal gel utilizing extracts of incorporating Nirgundi (Vitex Negundo), chilli paper (Capsicum annum), Turmeric (Curcuma Longa), Amla (Embelica officinalis), and Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis Miller) for dermatological applications. The herbal gel formulations were developed by combining aqueous and alcoholic extracts of these herbs in specific concentrations determined through preliminary experiments. Additionally, the Anti inflammatory and analgesic activity of the gel was assessed using standard assays to explore its potential protective effects against oxidative stress-induced skin damage. This research contributes to the growing body of evidence supporting the use of herbal formulations as safe and effective alternatives in dermatological care, while also highlighting avenues for further research and development in this field.
