Abstract:

Syzygium cumini, commonly known as Jamun or black plum, is a rich source of bioactive compounds, including flavonoids, polyphenols, antioxidants, iron and vitamin c. his tropical evergreen flowering plan, belonging o he Myrtaceae family, holds significant medicinal value and has long been used conventional medicine systems globally. Jamun is predominantly grown in Asian country like India, Pakistan, SriLanka and Bangladesh. Traditionally, it has been employed to manage various ailment & physical state. Today, it is primarily utilized as a therapeutic agent for addressing metabolic disorders like diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and obesity. Consequently, Jamun is considered potentially beneficial in combating metabolic syndrome.

This study reviewed the latest scientific literature and analyzed clinical trials to examine the effects of jamun on increasing blood glucose level, weight &Cholesterol. The findings revealed a strong link between consumption and improvements in sign and indication. Numerous studies have demonstrated is pharmacological benefits not only for MS but also for other health conditions. Currently, is role as a traditional remedy for managing MS is widely recognized? Expensive clinical studies have confirmed is therapeutic effects, attributing hem to is antioxidative, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and hypolipidemic properties. However, research is important to identify specific bioactive constituents to full understand his mechanisms responsible for is remarkable health benefits.
