Formulation and evaluation of polyherbal hair oil for hair growth

Abstract:

Introduction: Polyherbal hair oil, often known as natural oil, are made from plant-based ingredients and botanical extracts. They offer the scalp skin several advantages since they are made of natural ingredients. Their inherent aroma, antioxidant content, nourishing and moisturizing attributes, and environmental friendliness are a few of the benefits.

Materials and Methods: The preparation of the Polyherbal hair oil is based on Herbal formulation and Evaluation including organoleptic and physicochemical parameters determination. The pH, Acid value, Saponification value was measured and observed. The colour and odour were also observed.

Discussion: Lemon grass oil, coconut oil, castor oil, camphor oil, amla, fenugreek, neem, were used to make poly herbal oil. Using varying amount of the plant part, the herbal formulation was created and assessed for the evaluation.
