The present experiment entitled â€œ
Effect of organic and inorganic fertilizer on physico-chemical properties, macro nutrient and soybean productivity in a Vertisolâ€
was carried out at the Research cum Instructional Farm, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) during kharif
2016.The experiment was laid out in randomized block design (RBD) with three replications and seven treatments. The soybean crop cultivar JS-9752 was grown with recommended dose of fertilizers (30:60:30 kg ha-1
O) respectively. The treatments consisted of organic and inorganic combination of T1
(100% N RDF through organic source), T3
(75% N RDF through organic source), T4
(50% N RDF through inorganic +50% N RDF through organic), T5
(75% N RDF through organic + 25% N through inorganic), T6 (
100% N RDF through inorganic) and T7
(100% N RDF through inorganic + 5t FYM ha-1.
). The available N, P and K were significantly higher in treatment T3 (
75% N RDF through organic source) at both surface (0-15 cm) and subsurface (15- 30 cm) soil depth and minimum was recorded in T1
(control) at surface and subsurface soil depthat harvest.
