Abstract: A study was conducted at two blocks namely Behat and Punwarka of district Saharanpur, U.P. to identify the current situation of marketable surplus and post harvest losses of guava. A total of seven villages from each block were selected by random sampling technique, guava farmers were categorised into three categories on the basis of area under guava cultivation as small (upto 1 hectare), medium (1 to 2 hectare) and large (2 hectare and above).
